In this clip, Mike elaborates on the notion that, with technology, we can teach ourselves any skill or talent in an instant. They agree that the days of being unable to obtain knowledge in specific fields are over.
For example, when Mike was gaining traction in the music industry, he spent many hours trying to find his right sound with an engineer. These extended hours spent with engineers put a strain on Mike’s creative vision, limiting him to only being able to fine-tune his sound when the said engineer was around. So what did he do? Mike went and taught himself how to do it himself, thus, making his musical capabilities flourish tenfold.
Use this clip to give yourself motivation when a mountain seems too high to climb. Just because you do not know something, does not mean it cannot be taught. Make technology work for you.
