Mike knows a lot about baseball. It was his first love, and to this day, he still makes the time to keep his ears up for those who are changing the game.
Hunter Greene is one of those people who are changing the game of baseball as we speak. You might’ve heard of him back in the 2017 MLB Draft when he was drafted 2nd overall by the Cincinnati Reds. You might’ve also heard he touched 102mph in high school as a pitcher.
For Mike, he heard about Hunter Greene when he stumbled across the prospect on the cover of a little old magazine called Sports Illustrated. Ever heard of it? When he flipped through the pages, Mike saw the then 17-year-old Greene branded as the “LeBron of baseball.”
Those are big shoes to fill, but once you get through this episode, you’ll find Greene is ready to lace up. The son of a mother who is an educational consultant and a father who is a private investigator, you’ll find this California kid has the core morals and values to stay humble throughout his path to the big leagues. His work ethic? Let’s just say he’s always in the trenches.
The two will touch on many different topics while going over Greene’s journey. There will be talk of educational reform, technological advancements, and traveling. Lastly, Mike might’ve found his most serious challenger yet in ping pong. Greene has the sauce, so stayed tuned for how their future games go.
